Christmastime brought the completion of two more goals:
#74: Own a [halfways-decent] digital camera
I scored a camera for Christmas. a Canon PowerShot ELPH 100 HS. It's a point and shoot, and seemingly has gotten good reviews from both professional reviewers and users alike.
The only thing I relaly have to complain about is the colour -- I would have prefered a more vibrant colour to the grey, but it's a good classic colour, so I can't complain too much at all.
Due to some... minor political issues, I'm choosing to not start counting photos until January 1st. Plus, it gives me a chance to do some fun photo things. =D
#77: Own 11 Teacups
So. I was in Value Village today, and ended up buying 11 teacups.
You see, there was a really cute set of Christmas teacups and saucers. And, at 75% off, they were $4 with taxes. For ten pairs. I couldn't pass that up -- they were rediculously cheap adorable!
And then there was a Royal Albert teacup, which was nice and stately and I decided I wanted.
Plus, I got a Royal Albert teacup and a Polish teacup for Christmas. So that's 13 I've acquired in the last week alone! Obviously, I am well over the original plan of at least 11. (And I don't plan to stop any time soon -- my mom has two rubbermade bins full of teacups! I must catch up and surpass!)

Day 140
Radio Silence. Always fun, isn't it?
Which is not the best excuse ever for not touching this, buuut it will have to do.
That being said, there has been progress. Expect a report here once things die down.
IN THE MEANTIME.
I am starting a new endeavour to help towards reaching my goals (or at least two of them....)
In the next 101 days (well, today + 100), I am hoping to drink 101 different flavours of tea from Davids Tea.
I have... over a month's worth at home (largely because they have an advent calendar! =D!!!), but this will still end up eating at least a bit of money and require some careful planning on my part. (Guess who's hoping for helpful Christmas presents~)
Still, lots of delicious tea!
I'll be drinking all of them clear... at least for one cup. Some (like chai) taste better with additives, but I would rather see what they're like at base, and then add in extras as desired. This also gives a chance to see how flavour profiles can be affected by milk and sugar/honey. I look forward to the experiment~!
Today's tea? Read My Lips. Chocolatey and minty. Delicious! (though too weak....)
As I will be until the end, I have reviewed the tea on Steepster.

Day Thirty-One -- VICTORY!!
So, I completed my first goal yesterday, without even thinking about it.
In the morning, I started watching SoltyRei. It's a 24+2 episode anime series.
I was about halfway through early in the afternoon, so I start musing to myself, "I wonder if I can finish this today?". And I did. A little before midnight.
Lots of cleaning, cooking, and laundry in there, but nonetheless, an entire series, about 12 hours of anime, in one day....
And so I may now cross off my first goal: #64: Marathon an entire series.
Victory!!!

Day Eleven -- On the Subject of Tea
Okay. So, I've decided to make some posts dedicated to individual goals, since it seems like it might be a more interesting venture than updating overall over half the days on here.
So, starting with goal #78 Drink 101 flavours of tea.
Why did I choose this goal? Because I love tea. Simple as that.
I love trying different flavours. I actually found out that there's a tea sommelier course offered not far from me, and that kind of made me go *_____*, though it will be a long time (if ever) before I actually go for that.
Nonetheless, actually trying different teas, building my palate, and becoming more aware of how to make a good cup of tea, and exactly what I like and how I like it sounds like a great idea, and that's why I'm doing it.
I'm using Steepster to keep track of my tea selection thus far. I'm adding my tenth entry tonight. One thing on here I haven't drunk yet, but I have some and WILL drink it before the time runs out. I also have one or two that aren't on there yet, but I've drank, so it all evens out. ^_~
So, as I drink my Tetley Chai, I unofficially declare myself practically 1/10 of the way done this goal!
The first 25-50% of this goal will be easy -- I have quite a little tea cupboard (much to my mother's dismay at times). The last bit, however, might be a challenge, as I search to find more teas to try and enjoy.
Wish me luck, and happy tea drinking!

Day Five
Ok. I'm already technically behind on my 505 progress reports! Eeek! But I'll catch up, never you worry.
And part of this was because I was out visiting family for the weekend. So shush. XD
Anyway, progress report!
I have a little container that used to hold bath salt. I'm putting the first of my stars in there -- it looks cute so far, and I'll make sure to take a picture when it's full! So far, it has 60 stars in it (made while watching HP movies, getting ready for Friday's release! Eek!) The bottle won't hold all my stars by a longshot, but it's a nice beginning.
I've also read my first two books.
You can do ANYTHING -- a short, inspirational book by Carlton Cards is the first. My parents got it for me when I graduated from university the first time. (Um, I'm on my third degree. This was for my undergrad. So. yeah. XD) I like to read it when I'm starting something big, because it's very inspirational.
The second is The Book of Awesome by Neil Pasricha. I have to say, it lived up to its name. Especially saying that I read it in two days, around visiting with relatives.
I just couldn't put it down.
This is also my first New book. =D
I hope to read more today -- I have some manga out from the local library. (Yes, I'm killing two birds with one stone. Tee hee hee.)
I also plan to start a page for my read lists today, so I can keep those nice and organized. Though the books are also being documented on Zotero.
I should also say that my letter (101) is, in fact, written. It's currently residing inside of the first book I read. =D
I think in the futrure, I should start with the numbers that things are associated with. But I don't feel like going back and fixing this now. Oh well, I can experiment as I go along -- the first few days are good times for finding what works for me, yes?
Until next time, then.
PS: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was great. I want to see it again. Perhaps in some sort of Hermione get-up (casual or otherwise), but that remains to be seen.
